Dinner in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is a great start to the day. The rooms are a bit old fashioned as is the hotel style but the beds are comfortable and the space adequate, no separate shower room but the bath/wc is ok. The location of the hotel by the lake and the Chateau plus a short walk to the town shops is excellent.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations. the attention to detail was impeccable. From the modern decor in the rooms to the beautiful view of the Chateau, every little aspect was well thought out. The rooms themselves were spacious and reminded me of the style you would find in a luxury hotel like the Georges V in Paris. The bathroom was absolutely superb, with a super modern design and all the amenities you could need. Additionally, the location was perfect, situated in a stunning square with a lovely statue of Chateaubriand and just a stone's throw away from a picturesque lake. Finally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
All was excellent, no improvements needed.

We arrived at 9pm on Saturday night after a stressful journey and were delayed by about 2 hours. I called a couple of times to put back our dinner reservation which was done. We arrived just as last orders were being taken at the restaurant but they were very welcoming and held the table for us. The restaurant was very stylish, top rate food and wine, excellent service and atmosphere. The family room was a good size with very modern furnsihings and tastefully decorated. The whole hotel looked like it had been re-furbished and was spotless. It was only a shame we had to leave early the next morning for the boat. We would like to return some time.
